Serving Your Community

At Chosen Vessel Church, we believe that God created each of us with unique gifts and talents to serve others and build up the body of Christ. As followers of Jesus, we are called to imitate His servant heart. Serving allows us to use what God has given us to make a difference in people’s lives and be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community.

There are many ways to serve

  • Join one of our volunteer teams on Sundays – We need greeters, information desk volunteers, setup team, hospitality team (coffee/snacks), media/tech team, and more.

  • Serve with kids or youth – Help out in one of our children’s or youth programs through teaching, games, music, events, leading small groups, and more. We offer many opportunities to invest in the next generation.

  • Join a ministry team – We have teams focused on worship, missions, men’s/women’s groups, recovery programs, and more where you can serve regularly.

  • Help with facility/grounds projects – We often have work days for cleaning, painting, landscaping, building, and maintaining our facilities.

  • Use your specialized skills – Share talents like graphic design, photography, videography, IT, administrative help, event planning, and more.

  • Prepare meals – Help cook meals for those recovering from illness/surgery, families of new babies, our college ministry, funeral receptions, and other needs.

  • Deliver groceries – Join our team assembling and delivering groceries to families in need in our community.

  • Mentor others – Get involved in one of our mentorship programs for youth, young adults, new believers, married couples, and more.

Serving Fills Your Heart

Serving is a great way to get to know others at our church, use your gifts to make a difference and grow in your relationship with God.

We hope you’ll pray about how God might want to use you to bless others through serving here. Please stop by our Welcome Desk to learn more about these and other service opportunities or fill out our online interest form. We can’t wait to serve alongside you!

We long for everyone at our church to experience the personal spiritual growth, care, and sense of community that happens when you serve our community and the world at large.

You’re invited to take a step and join us as we serve.
